Bioengineering professor and NanoCenter member William Bentley was featured in a CNN report on bioterrorism threats facing the nation. A widely publicized report detailing security threats and how to guard against them has just been released. Former Florida Senator Bob Graham chairs the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism which pointed to safety and security measures the nation's labs can take to reduce threats from terrorism. CNN turned to Professor Bentley and the university's bioengineering facilities to help explain the bioterrorism threats facing our nation.
