Description Perkin Elmer Lamda1050 UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometer
150 mm integrating sphere with broadband InGaAs detector

Features and specifications:

  • Deuterium and Tungsten Halogen light sources with double grating monochromators.
  • PMT, InGaAs, and PbS 3-detector module for testing across the entire UV/Vis/NIR range from ~200 nm to 3300 nm.
  • 150 mm Integrating Sphere with PMT and broadband InGaAs detectors (250 nm - 2500 nm) for diffusive reflectance and transmittance measurement.

Potential applications:

  • Optical absorption measurements for both liquid and thin film samples.
  • Solar cell material characterization through optical absorption spectrum.
  • Optical characterization of optical coating and specialty optics.
  • Spectral analysis of inks, dyes, pigments, and paints.
  • Training/Technical Assistance: $100/hr

    External Non-profit/University: $83/hr

    Small Commercial/MTECH: $160/hr

    Large Commercial: $220/hr

    Outsider users: Please reserve your time only on Mondays and Tuesdays between 9 am and 5 pm. Reservations on other times will be cancelled.
