This brings the relatively new Bioengineering PhD Program to a new level of activity and accomplishment, with full department status and an associated Institute. Accordingly there will be significant faculty hiring in the coming years to realize the potential these developments promise. To accommodate this growth, the College is planning an addition to the Kim Engineering Building, due to start this spring and to be completed in summer 2007.
