UMD Reaches Top Tier in Nano and Micro Ranking by Small Times Magazine

In its first ranking of universities, Small Times placed UMD 1st in nano research and nano education, and tied for 2nd in micro research. Maryland NanoCenter research and education accomplishments, the Kim Building, and SSSC were explicitly recognized as leading to this stature.
