Dr. James O'Connor has joined Maryland NanoCenter as Director of the FabLab. Formerly the General Manager of Bookham Technology's North American Headquarters and its Director for Technology Transfer, Dr. O'Connor brings tremendous experience and insight to the challenges and opportunities of the FabLab. He is experienced in silicon and compound semiconductor technologies and in R&D activities, including collaboration with universities Federally funded research programs. He also held positions at Honeywell, Allied Signal, and Bendix.
