PRIZES: This year we will be awarding three posters $100 to the top posters in the following categories:

  • Entrepreneurship - Posters will be judged on their suitability for developing into an entrepreneurial idea or securing industry investment.
    Judge: Eric Schurr, MTECH
  • Newsworthiness - Posters will be judged on their likelihood of being covered in a press release or news article, including uniqueness, public appeal, novel application or significant discovery.
    Judge: Phil Schewe, author of The Grid and Maverick Genius
  • Readiness for Public Funding - Posters will be judged on their suitability to be the basis of a federal grant.
    Judge: Beth Brittan-Powell, Office of Research

The poster session will last from 11am until 2pm. The awards will be announce after the conclusion of the Quiz Bowl around 5:30pm.
